Well, quite an event this past evening. Sounds corny, it really is a wonderful life. Talked to sooooo many wonderful family and friends. Got home and I was so hoarse I could not hear my laugh!

I start on the 14th. Taking the train from St Paul to Seattle. I arrive in Seattle on 7/16 and begin the cycling that morning. I hope to reach you by Saturday at the latest. I will email you as I get closer to Portland. Believe or not I have two other folks in Portland that also want me for a day or two — am I a lucky guy or what??

I am up for anything since I have not been to Portland since 1971. Sunscreen I got — tubes of it! I am looking forward to a cooler Northwest since our summer has been extremely hot.
