The Hills were Alive

Soon to wrap up this leg of our journey in the Rocky Mountains of West Colorado. The weather has been gorgeous and the scenery is out of this world. Hiking, walking and wandering around Frisco and Breckinridge Colorado. The fall colors are starting to show — rusty golden grasses and bright yellow aspens are the first to show. Now I’m going to stop because sometimes its best shut-up and let photos tell the tale.

One day we hiked up Mt Quandry. The next day we climbed up to large meadow on the backside of that same mountain. I’ve never climbed rocks like those!

We stayed with very good friends who own a condo in Frisco. They have been knowledgeable guides and wonderful hosts. Thank you, Julie and Mark!!
