Was Leif here?

No matter what I do those darn Norwegians are everywhere. It was enough that I spent a good share of my career working in the Sons of Norway Building. Now I discover that Oregon is overrun with Norski types too!

In Lincoln City, the Viking Motel was a trendy tourist destination–see the ferocious statue of Eric the Red.

Then in Bandon, I cheerily lunched on some awesome fresh fish and chips–at a Norwegian fish house.

Lastly, I had a delightful salmon salad for dinner at “The Crazy Norwegian”.

Uff Da!!

Postscript: I also had a terrific chocolate chip cookie.

This looks like a Vikings fan. Glad you are experiencing some reminders of the “old country!” (aka Minnesota)

You will never escape the Norwegian’s, we are everywhere! And now part of the family! 🙂

      Melissa,
As you know the Norskis raped and pillaged Ireland for centuries so I am sure we (Irish side) are your kindred brethren.

I am I Gold Beach eating lunch at Rollin in the Dough.

      Hope you are doing well!
